The Unintended Consequences of Getting Copyright Wrong

So much has been said and discussed about the proposed Copyright for the digital age Directive- so EDiMA is pleased to be able to bring a fresh angle to the debate. We would like to invite you to attend our upcoming event on “The Unintended Consequences of Getting Copyright Wrong”.
The event will revolve around Articles 11 and 13 of the proposal and will bring forward experts from different sectors to highlight what is at stake focusing on the far-reaching impact on the future of innovative businesses in Europe.
We will be joined by speakers representing a variety of stakeholders- which are not the usual stakeholders that have dominated the debate so far. The speakers will include start-ups, small publishers, online marketplaces, internet access providers and open-source software community each of which will describe how EU copyright reform will impact the operation of their businesses.
The event will be divided into two panel discussions, focusing on the broader consequences of Articles 11 and 13 respectively followed by interactive debate with the audience. We invite you to also participate in and follow our discussion on Twitter using the hashtag #fixcopyright.
